Be Creative and Prepared

You should always be ready for photography and thus keep your equipment always ready. Gather everything you’ll need in one centralized scene or place. A camera bag just has to happen for any young or older Otaku! Different Lighting

If you have noticed then you skin color varies when you are having different shades of light falling on you. Thus make sure to use different lighting while clicking pictures. Using natural light can actually give you or of a soft movie feel. If you stay near warmer areas and film and shoot near windows you can obtain a more amazing look if done correctly.

Natural lighting is considered as the best option and you experiment with it. When filming by a window, you can get strong shaows as well as soft shadows. Some people call them dramatic shadows. Make sure you turn your subject to accomplish this affect and allow yourself to be patient when capturing these moments.

Steady the Camera matey..

It is very much important because the blurry photos and never interesting and they occur due to the wrong camera movement. It means that when you are not steady it can result into shaking of camera which leads to blurred images.

Planting your feet firm and tucking your elbows can help with this task. Instead of using the screen viewer, steady your camera against your forehead and use the view finder that comes with most DSLR cameras and most point and shoots. It is also possible to steady you body by leaning against a wall of sorts Leaning up against a tree could work as well.. It is also preferable to completely eliminate the movement of camera with the help of tripod.

As per the above instruction if you are all set then you should gently press the shutter release button and make sure to do that in a single motion only. If you press the shutter release very hard then it can create the jerk on camera at downwards.

No picture is a bad picture, It’s all digital

When you need a single picture then also make sure to click number of shots. It is the thing which is done by the professionals. With a digital camera, you can delete the images you don’t like, and only print the winners – so don’t hesitate to take several shots of the same subject. Change the angle of the shot. Get a little closer. Adjust the lighting.

Why not fill the entire memory card with pictures of your kid at the pool, or your daughter in her cap and gown? The more pictures you take, the better the odds that you’ll get a few shots that will really thrill you.

Get ‘intimate’ with your photos

Clicking shots is a task of skill. The only difference between snapshots and the great pictures is the composition of a shot. When you are shooting the outdoor landscape then you can improve the image and its clarity by simply getting closer to subject. Depending on the situation, you can physically move closer to your subject, or use the zoom feature on your camera for the same effect. Try to get within a few feet of your subject so you eliminate most of the background. You’ll like the results.

Go for ‘Real” and Honest

Instead of posing two (or more) otaku looking directly at the camera, get a shot of them interacting with one another. Even two otaku having a conversation is more interesting than having them stand next to each other facing the camera. Some of the best professional portraits have the subject captured deep in thought, with their attention focused inward, rather than on the camera lens.

The candid photos option looks great and it becomes the interesting shot. The portrait becomes natural and less posed.

Got to eliminate Red-Eye

Red-eye is the result of light passing through your subject’s eye and reflecting back. You’ll get it more often when using your flash, just because the light from the flash isn’t as diffused as natural light. So the first tip for eliminating red-eye is simply to avoid using your flash when you don’t absolutely have to. It never looks good when your images have red eye.

There is the way of reducing the issue of red eye. You can make the subject look anywhere but not at the camera. The reason is that the reflection is not directed at the camera lens.

If you have to use the flash, some digital cameras have a built-in feature to automatically remove red-eye. Use it.

Make sure you create good Scenes

The times have gone when you used to put the subject in center and it has become very much of boring style. It would be an interesting and pleasing result when you place the subject off center while faring for the shot.

This is not the professional way but you can place the subject so that it occupies 1/3 or ½ of total composition. It should not be exact the center of frame. Then capture the interesting background object in the remaining part of the frame.

Anybody can practice these techniques. They’re easy and you’ll get better, more professional photos.
