Why move to positive thinking!

10 Tips to Move Toward it…

If you are the boss of your life then start taking control in terms of time management, recording what happens, tracking events and begin goal setting for yourself. At the beginning, you may feel that a potential attention deficient disorder and positive thinking has nothing to do with each other. But a number of people develop the negative thinking patterns and get frustrated with common challenges that are faced. The negative attitude makes it difficult to manage the challenges and move forward. When you practice positive thinking, especially as an Otaku, it allows you to add focus to the accomplishments and strengths that you have. It also increases your motivation and happiness. There are certain tips which you should keep in mind for more positive thinking patterns.

1. Care for yourself!
It is very much easy to become positive when you exercise, eat well and take rest. Even beyond gaming, biking and general exericse that get the blood moving really help as Otaku!

2. Think about things you are grateful for!

The stress and challenges do not seem bad when you keep on reminding yourself of the things which are right in your life. Consider and think for 60 seconds and appreciate good things and it will make a huge difference.

3. Don’t make assumptions and look for proof!

Usually, we have the fear of not being accepted and liked at times. But keep in mind that the fears are not reality. If you are having the fear of someone’s bad mood then it will be because of something that you did. If you feel that your co-workers are speaking to you in a negative way then be confident and speak to them. You should never waste time in worrying about such things.

4. Don’t use absolutes! Thinking and also speaking in forms of absolutes like never and always can make situations worse and it programs the brain into thinking that certain people are not able to deliver on anything..People are afterall people… Don’t let an absolute break your friendship if that friend breaks a promise!

5. Remove negative thoughts!

Your thoughts should never be able to control you. If you feel like negative tough coming into your mind then detach such thoughts and never follow them.

6. Crush the “ANTs”!

Dr Danial amen has talked about the ANT i.e. the automatic negative thoughts. They are the bad thoughts which are fractional. At time you feel something bad when you hear “boss is calling me”. When you feel such things remember that they are the ANTs and crush them.

7. Practice Touching, loving and squeezing to a certain extent!
You never need to know about the benefits of having a good hug. The positive physical contact with your loved ones and friends can prove to be the instant solution. Keep the touch at a minimal with co-workers though..:-)

8. Increase social activity!

Loneliness is the negative aspect of our lives. If you increase social activity you will decrease your loneliness. Make sure that you surround yourself with happy people and healthy people who can give you positive energy. This will affect your positive thinking.

9. Volunteer or help someone!
It feels good after helping someone. You can volunteer your money, time and resources to various people that need it. The more positive energy you give in the world the more you will receive in return.

10. Use pattern interrupts!

If you feel yourself ruminating then the best way to stop it is with interrupt patterns. You should force yourself to do something which is really different. It is the hyper-focus on something negative that kills us and this can happen through developing negative patterns. Try to change the physical environment and go for a walk or sit outside. You can also read a book, listen to music or call a friend…outside….

Often we as Otaku, in our very nature, stay inside and do nothing more than read, game, and eat inside. Trying doing those things outside!

These are the things which help in increasing the productivity as well. Keeping the mind steady is only

10 Ways to Take Control Fearsome Otaku!

FearsomeOtaku1-animebusters

“Who’s the Boss? I am an Otaku and I control my life!”

10 ways to start taking control of life as an Otaku.

1. Make yourself a better Otaku witih positivity!
It’s much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2.Remind yourself of the things that you care about!
Stresses and challenges don’t seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions!
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member’s bad mood is due to something you did, speak up and ask them. Don’t waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Not everything is an absolute.
Have you ever told a partner “You’re ALWAYS late!” or complained to a friend “You NEVER call me!”? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like ‘always’ and ‘never’ makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Negative thoughts can kill us..
Your thoughts can’t hold any power over you if you don’t judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don’t follow it.

6. Ants DONT MATTER!
In his book “Change Your Brain, Change Your Life,” Dr. Daniel Amen talks about “ANTs” – Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like “Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me,” or “The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!” When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Put some ‘lovin’ in your heart and on your family.
You don’t have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn’t touch!

8. Social activity is mandatory for us.. Go to cons and such!
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Spread the love and help your fellow Otaku!
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat being complacent.
Pattern interrupts, stop doing the same thing as in playing the same game or watching the same Anime. Go completely outside of the norm in certain cases.
